Relatively new to the DJ game, although I did house parties and high school dances, back in the 80's, on 1200s.

Currently on the decks (Virtual DJ) 2 nights a week spinning Top 40, R'n'B, Hip-hop and Dance. While house music is what moves me, I have to play for the crowd...

Having a blast learning to rock a party again, regardless... mostly just beat matching, phasing, basic cross-fade cuts and some EQ tweaking.

Hopefully, one day, I'll be at the point where I don't have to explain why I don't want to play B.E.P. "I Gotta Feelin" for the 3rd time in a hour to the drunk girl/guy yelling, 'PLAY IT... YOU SUCK!" (LOL - Can ya feel me!?)

My Interests

Snowboarding (Certified CASI Level 1 Instructor) [current]

Sailing (CYA Bronze Sail - Green Level Instructor) [Not current]

House - Funky Disco, Trance, Down tempo... anything that I hear and can feel!

DJs/Producers/Etc. - Ben Watt, Nick Warren, DJ Pisces, Kruder and Dorfmeister (the list goes on and on...)

Numark Total Control

(Can someone please tell me why this thing has no headphone input? We had to put in the DJM so I could monitor the channels for mixing... If anyone knows how I can monitor between the 2 sound cards on the PC w/ Total Control please let me know!)
