Greets All, this is Matt Gregory -aka- DJ Mattzilla. I started off in the club scene back in 1987 as a dancer/party goer. I've always had that special ear for the music because I was raised in a musical family. I moved to the DJ side back in 2000 and it stuck.
I like all styles and genres of music from Deep House to Heavy Metal. I can't say who influenced me the most because all of the Chicago DJ's had a part in the making of Mattzilla. But there are a few who stand out:
Ron Hardy, Lil Louis, Gene Hunt, DJ Rush. I could not end the list without putting the 4 DJ's who helped me in the beginning with technical expertise and advise: my boys - Audio, Brey1213, KC, and Matt Hughes (Chicago)
