what bitrate are we to record this at?
standard 192 would be da bomb  This is great guys i think we have more then the 12 slots BUT.... anyone that wants to submit a 10min mix ... do it!!! depending on how this all works out I may make 2 different final mixes. 1. 120min standard CD 2. an extended version for pc ipod/mp3 players Just remember try to get these in by April 30th Thanks again guys .. lets make this one hot! |

We are holding the 1st VDJR community mega mix!!!
We tried something like this before but it was difficult and the project seemed to lose steam along the way.
For this one we will have DJ's record their mix and upload it. When we have all the submissions one DJ will mix them all together to make one overall "master mix". This saves a lot of time and makes things much more simple for everyone.
Rules:
-12 DJ's limit (1st come basis) YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A RADIO DJ TO SIGN UP , just a member of the community and own Virtual DJ.
-10min. MAX for mixes (please try to include some type of intro/outro)
-BPM's (you can use any BPM however the intro/outro must be between 115-128)
*** you change the tempo to whatever you like during your 10min set but keep in mind if your going to make changes to a slower tempo they should be done in a smart fashion.
All submissions will be uploaded to a storage site... rapidshare, etc. then the link should be sent to me in a PM here or email.
The deadline for submitting mixes will be April 30 2009
Don’t worry about your playlist.. Just try and be "different" and bring your best "A-game" mixes!
So sign up and get mixing...

Here it is.. a small sample of a great party.It's unusual for me to shorten a mixset.. I try from 1-8 hrs. (Depending on my mood & energy levels). Here a complete sample mix with VDJ 5.1 A straight forward track mix back2back. I'm not much of a recorderer I normally only do live mixes. But now it can be enjoyed over & over... Peace from the Devine.

The 10min rule is OUT THE WINDOW!!!!!
if we get lots of music i'll do 2 mixes for cd's and one extented
just do what you guys like.
I do want to thank everyone for their interest in the project and i want to show that love back.

I'm sorry Bomb... this is changing a bit as we go to help simplfy things. Lets say 2-3 full songs MAX ALSO as the mixes come in i will try and keep up to date on the playlist, to help DJ's not play dup tracks. I have a few already |
