Hi All I'm writting on behalf of VDJ Radio. We would like to set more focus promoting the Radio in the different countries that you are from. DJs promote what they can for their shows etc, but we would like to improve evenmore. So if you are listening to VDJ Radio regulary and like what you hear during shows - YOU can help.Promoting in todays world can be done in many ways and on daily basis by us all - So some suggestions can be found below.- Facebook status updates
- Twitter updates
- MSN
- AOL
- Speak to friends and share the links
- Forum posts other than VDJ Radio community
- Lan parties
- Private parties
- Parties before a night out with your friends
- Use the radio for the events were it fits in
We will soon introduce a new idea - promotion team - that will get the task of promoting VDJ Radio more actively, find new ideas of promoting on the internet. If you would like to help VDJ Radio on this, please answer to this post, and we will get back to you as soon as we are ready to start. If any can translate this to french, and spanish and put it under their respective topics i would be glad ! Remember the radio is all about giving listeners a good time and its because of you we do the workDJ TaZ |

Hey Taz, great post! I think it's really important to promote your radio station, Virtual DJ Radio as often as you can. I know I normally post on facebook every time I mix, that really does help. I also mention the radio to pretty much everyone I speak to! I'm always up for anything if it means promoting this great site, so sign me up mate! Take Care, DJ Lay Z  |

I agree and I think it's a good move to try and push VDJR more into the face of the public.  On the topic of forum posts, Facebook etc, perhaps some of the graphic designers around here could draw up a VDJR community store of banners/pics that can be used in email signatures, forum signatures etc. That way we can use them in our signatures on other sites and email by referencing the HTML code and it would help promote the site in other areas that we're involved in. Get what I mean? I'm also doing up an Australian Effect Facebook fan page... maybe someone from each of the other shows could do one for theirs too. This promotes the DJs as well as VDJR itself and can easily be spread around Facebook (and other social sites). Just a couple of thoughts. Ash  |

Count me In. I always try & post when i'm listening so my friends have an idea where i am..lol Also I msn prsnl messages / facebook / house-mixes / myspace etc. Vdj is on everyday 4 me...not to mention the mixes i post here. Thnx  |

 For the quick responses so far and the further suggestions from you... they are noted down (via the forum hehe and on my secret todo list also) Nice to see that we agree and share the same viewpoints, both DJs willing to do an effort but also the actual listeners... There will come instructions to people that will be "assigned" as VDJR promoters on how to move on, what to do etc. It will take some weeks to get this established in a good way (structure, possible tools etc), and remember this is on free will and because of our love to this Radio. So i hope you have some patience so it can be done correct. I hope to see more people wanting to join this initiative, especially from the listener side, as its that angle we want to promote more :-D Remember daily activities can still be done by us all and we cover so many countries that its not an impossible task :-D  DJ TaZ

keep me in the loop Taz  I am willing an able to make some more of the promo buttons and am always trying to promote the site. P.S. there is buttons for ch 2 just waiting on them to be up-loaded |

just telling n told to my buddies........
by the way, hopefully the 'connection' to the 'no buffering listen radio' is important too.......... refering to the increasing listener n members....... for making this VDJ radio above an average radio.......
keep up d gud work, brothers n sisters........... me bring love to this community

Very good ideas Taz. This is something that the Radio Editors have been addressing just a few days ago, but I wasn't aware that there was going to be a "Promotions Team" yet as we haven't discussed the structure of such a team.  But lets keep moving on with it as there are clearly people that are interested in such a thing but we need to plan this stuff in the future so that they will be successful.  |

Other than that, its Taz posting some great ways to "spread the word" about VirtualDJ Radio And hope everyone will spread the word at their own sites, social pages, etc about the radio.... Besides i wanted to ask do you guys have like big banners to put in the clubs that would say virtual dj radio web address to hang all over like two at least i would put them in the front part of where i would dj to promote the page and the software!!! let me know i am down for anything!
